Scanned by vendor and in-house; remaining TEI creation needs to occur in-house (~37 books); only 3 books of been encoded from scratch; \89 of 164 TEI files have been corrected; in-house scanning for missing images, poor images, etc. has begun (to date, ~40 books will require some level of scanning, then OCR; correction is on-going; Need to determine METS modeling for project.

We will OCR all text and ingest into Fedora.  We can use the same specs as Mass dig except for links to IUCat.  Will need some analysis for volume access.80GB already OCR'ed; awaiting space (finishing Golden Scanning) to pull the remainder from HPSS to OCR. PDF and Derivative creation all together.

Kara has down loaded the PDFs from HPSS. She will create TIFF masterfiles, JPGs for METS Nav delivery and  OCR for searching for all of the books. We will use the existing PDF files for printing.  We will load the monographs into Fedora via the Mass dig method. The others will be stored in HPSS until we can deal with serials and multi-part books.  Waiting for Tech Services to reply to questions about content.
